Press Release Body = FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE 4/21/2006
I Want To Work from Home. What Now??
Boulder City, Nv - April 20, 2006 - Where do I go from here?
I hate the commute! I hate my job! I want to be my own boss! I know I can make money on my own! These are just a couple of reasons why many of us decide to strike out on our own, start a home based business, generate income, and become our own CEOs.
The idea of working from home, and making a good living doing so, is not a far-fetched one. There are a couple of things to keep in mind, though.
5 Things to Think About Before Becoming Your Own Boss
1.) BE REALISTIC IN YOUR EXPECTATIONS.
You aren\'t going to make a million dollars with the click of your mouse in 30 days! Start off with an attainable goal, say $100 a month. Hit that mark and you will feel a sense of accomplishment and get very excited about your venture. Make your next goal $200, and move up from there. It\'s all about REACHING goals, not setting unrealistic ones!
2.) DO YOUR HOMEWORK!
When I started my journey into internet marketing, I knew next to nothing about the subject. You have to learn HOW to do business before anyone will DO business with you. Find and read all the material you can about what you are setting out to do. If you wait for someone to give you all the answers, it\'s probably best you stick with your job.
3.) UNDERSTAND THE \'BUSINESS\' PART.
The best advice I\'ve seen about owning your own home based business: \"Treat it like a business and you will be rewarded.\" You are becoming a business owner. That\'s the easy part. Now you have to start THINKING like a business owner. You have to constantly think about how to improve and better your business on a daily basis.
4.) BE PREPARED TO DO THIS!!!
One rule applies to any business on this planet. If you want to make money, you have to be prepared to spend some money. There are no exceptions!
5.) TAKE OWNERSHIP.
This is YOUR business. You have to take some pride in what you are doing. Be proactive in your efforts to grow your business. Choose a business that you will feel good about owning. You have to be passionate about what you are doing!
Remember, owning your own business is not all fun and games. Sometimes, you have to force yourself to \'stay in the game\', so to speak. Have faith, and don\'t give up!
